The £5 Highlighting Miracle I Discovered... From Primark!

Hi Beauties,

I apologise for not posting last week, but I was super busy. I have decided that every week, I will dedicate Thursdays to a new blog post because what's the point of having a blog if you don't post regularly right?! Swiftly moving on, today's post is short but is dedicated to a highlighting palette I came across in Primark about a month and a half ago now. It's called the Pure Glow palette and is part of Primark's P.S. collection. First of all, I fell in love with the packaging. I loved the marble effect and the rose gold, holographic writing on the front of the palette. The palette contains four shades (top left to bottom right), white (Desert), bronze (Glimmer), Pink (Eden) and Gold (Firefly). It reminded me of the ABH Glow Kit and I couldn't believe that it was only £5!

I've also swatched them on my hand for you guys to see how pigmented they are. I've ditched all of my other highlighters atm because I can't stop using this palette. It just goes to show that you don't have to break the bank to get a blinding glow!

I highly recommend you guys going out and buying this palette before it goes - you won't regret it!

Until next time hunnies,

Emma xoxo

To fresh starts, friends and flat lays

Hey, Beauties!

Welcome to Emizzle Beauty! My name is Emma and I'm a 22-year-old beauty and lifestyle enthusiast. I know that most girls are obsessed with their makeup and beauty products which is why I wanted to create my own blog.

The beauty industry is currently valued at £4 billion in the UK alone making it one of the most fast-growing markets in the world. Now I'm not here to talk about economics, but I just wanted to make the point of how this multi-million dollar industry is so special to the majority of women and girls, including myself.

Growing up, I had very little confidence in my appearance. I was not skinny, I had problematic skin (which I still suffer from) and in turn, this affected how I viewed myself as a person. When I was around 13/14, I started to discover makeup and beauty products. Although I couldn't afford the best products and my only knowledge of how to apply makeup came from the times I saw my mum doing hers and from what I had read in magazines and when I applied the foundation and mascara to my face, I felt like a completely different person. My skin was covered and no longer problematic, my ridiculously short eyelashes were now visible and finally viewed myself as something I always wanted to be, pretty. Now I'm not saying makeup solved all of my insecurities and problems, but it did change the way I viewed myself and gave me a boost of confidence, a sense of power that allowed me to face the world.

It may sound very cliché, but makeup and beauty helped me a lot growing up and has now developed into a passion. Of course, I still have days where I don't feel as confident or some part of me really gets me down, but this is the case with most people. However, when I do feel like this, there is nothing that makes me feel better than turning to beauty products. Whether that be having a luxurious bubble bath or doing a full face of makeup, I automatically feel so much better about myself and that is what I love about beauty. It's about taking time out for yourself and focusing on you and your appearance. You should never change your appearance for anyone else but yourself. It is also a love shared by many women and girls and is why I wanted to start this blog. I wanted to bring all women and girls together to share and talk about our love for beauty and how it makes us feel.

Love,
Emma xoxo
